Thanks Guys, well have started with gluing the bottom of the cowling first and work upwards to line it all up.

I lined the chin section up with the bottom of the cowl figuring the top gap would be an easy fill and fix...and prepped the horizontal stabs too..

Thanks Igor, wings on now, don't like the 'step' at the wing to fuselage joint though....bit of extra filing and sanding.....on the bottom too....

Nice job with the joins. Going back a few posts, another of my dislikes, aside from clear parts that have to be attached before painting, is attaching the exhausts before painting or are a part of the cowling, I've built several models where the exhausts were attached after painting and it takes nothing away from the finished product. Sorry for the rant Wayne, carry on.

And George the front canopy will have to be fitted filled and sanded as the fit is rather ordinary and will not go well if I add it later....
 
Some forward progress to show from a short stint on the weekend....Wings and Nose assembly in place....
