Thanks Hugh

Managed a couple of hours on this project today making scratch-built prickly parts. First, with the bottom portion of the landing gear struts now on, I had to finish off the brake lines. For this, I had to drill a hole in the end of the axle which was not represented on the model. Then the brake lines were extended and the connection to the inner nipple was made.

Next, I discarded the kit-supplied PE radar altimeter antennae and made my own.

FuG 16zy antenna, also scratch built in favour of he PE

D/F and training antennae also added. The D/F loop is made of wine bottle foil and the trailing antenna is the kit part.

So, what's left? Install the radar antlers, crew hatch and ladder, gear door linkages, and antenna wires. If all goes well, should get it done tomorrow night for finished shots Sunday.

Thanks for looking in.

Thanks everyone. With these final pics, I'm closing this build with my thanks to ll who have commented and shown interest. The scratch built antennae were installed, as were the pitot tube, nav lights, antenna wires, crew hatch, ladder, props, and gear door actuating links. A finished post will follow. Thanks for granting the extension to get this one in.
