Nice one Daniel. The Humbrol numbers are Dark Green 30, Dark Earth 29, and Black 33, all of these in matt paints, or Satin Black 85. Try to avoid using gloss black, as it's a sod to apply! The interior colour, apart from the cockpit, nose compartment and the navigators station back to the main spar is Humbrol Cockpit Grey green Number 78, but in this scale, you'll need to make it a bit lighter by adding a touch of white. The areas not painted in this colour were an almost matt black, sort of between matt and satin, if you know what I mean, which, in this scale, would be better as a very dark grey, almost black. This will allow fittings that are actually black to be painted as such, and be more visible.
Hope this helps, looking forward to the build.

A most excellent choice Daniel. A very historic aircraft, and I just can't believe the number of crew that served in this aircraft. Thanks for that info Alex.

    Cheers

Yes Daniel, the entire bomb bay was semi-matt black (Night), including the insides and edges of the doors.
Good old Airfix really did mess up didn't they - 429 Sqn was RCAF, and flew Halifax III's, only getting Lancs in March 1945, used on ops only up to April 25th!!!
Being fair though, when Airfix released their first Lanc back in the late 1950's, they got the squadron right as 460.
It's a pity Alex's pics show 'Access Denied' though.
