True enough....still my decision alright, more paint will go on over the weekend, in the mean time more pastel work on the wing area...and tackling the undercarriage!

hey Bill....Pencil first, then some pastel shading on the matt paint, gloss coat then some further Pastel work on rivets and latches.

Some painting done today, not quite finished yet, was a bit hot in the shed today....37C

The scheme I decided on was a slightly modified reverse scheme to the general pattern seen on G-14's, G-10's and the K-4. This reverse pattern was seen on some aircraft within these types.
This was based on the fact that the dark portion of the pattern visible on the port wing did not match any of the known standard upper surface camo patterns.

Actually looks like a gear up landing: prop gone, canopy jettisoned and the pilot on his way to the hofbrauhaus !

Only a little progress today nipped into the shed mid morning to a 38C temp showing on the thermometer, pushed on anyway for a short session.

Added the painted over 'Dark' patch on the cowling and changed to the same colour for the oversprayed swastica too most likely the same.
The possible colour quoted was Verde Oliva Scuro 2 a Dark Olive Green so I used Olive green with some Dark green added to create the darker shade.
Also extended the RLM83 green on the port wing a little further out for a bit better balance of the colours.

So starting tomorrow more pencil and Pastel work this will or should progress quickly from here....
