Very nice!
But I have a question that's a bit OT but, what exactly do you mean for "pastels"? The literal translation indicate this stuff
pastelli.jpg

is it correct?
Thanks in advance
Alberto

Hi Wayne,
thanks for the answer and the link.
So you mean these:

I got some of them but never used, may be I will try on the Zero, following your tutorial.
Cheers
Alberto

You got it Alberto, that's them!:)

Got home from work today and had a brain fade.....decided to make one further mod. to the paint job.....so off to the shed, knowing it was going to be friggin hot!
41C just to let you know.....

Added Green patches to the fuselage, figuring that this aircraft had a previous owner.....my reasoning.....that the dark patch on the cowl where the Diavolo Rossi emblem has been painted, most likely covers a previous emblem therefore it is possible that a staffel number WAS also on the fuselage and this too was overpainted.
Also glossed most of the upper surfaces so I can get some more primary decals on her tomorrow!

Thanks Guys!

Ok the little brain fade session has yielded some further progress...the result, Primary decals are on for the most part!

the wing crosses will be slightly overpainted tomorrow, then glossed over, once dry the Italian markings will be overlaid, slightly outboard of the crosses.....
