Ok, fitted my little brass tube insert for the pitot tube, glued in and sanded to shape. and fitted the leading edge slats too....plus a bit of sanding here and there!

She is looking good Wayne can't wait to see the paint.I love thew way those wings slide on these 109's in the Hase kits works great and a great fit always.

true enough but a bit of care is still necessay to get good alignment both top and bottom....

Excellent! Can you actually sand brass?

Yep! i usually use a file first to round the edge to shape then 400 and 600 grade sandpaper to finish the job.
 
Are you Really making a Socket for the pitot tube????????????????????

Yes I did! makes things easier at the end...just slip it in when painted.
