A note on the wing chevrons, if you didn't already know. Buffalo squadrons had permission to apply the chevrons below the wing as well as above. Decal companies don't usually give you the top and bottom stripes, and there's no requirement to add them, but it's always an option if you're interested...

Thanks Dana. I did not know that and will add them after I spray the silver on the bottom of the wings.

The masking and painting continued tonight and the next step will be putting on the canopy. I decided not to go with the Fast Frames and went ahead and ordered the Eduard masks.

I went with the Eduard masks and am very glad I did. They worked out beautifully and with all the window pains on this model I would suggest anyone building this kit use them.
