Just a quick update.
I was wrong, it wasn't time for paint yet. I had to add the gear well covers. Somehow managed to loose one of them and had to make it up from plastic sheet. Once the glue hardens I'll do a bit of sanding and it really will be ready for masking and paint.

I managed to break off the probes on the twin tails but replaced them with thin brass rods after some difficult drilling with one of my smallest drill bits. Aso, the canopy has been masked.
The white paint has been sprayed and what can I say, its white. Real white. I can see that photographing this is going to be difficult.
