An oldie but a goodie. Built this kit about 45 years ago. As basic as it is, I wanted to build another one about 10 years back so I loaded up on goodies from Hannants. Then put off building it. So now I have a good excuse to give it a go.

The last picture of the tail there is a bump or raised area around the rear and front of the tail boom ? What was Airfix thinking ?? Does not exist on the real plane as far as I can see ?

Actually it existed but not as overdone as the Airfix made this.

More hacking and sanding on the Frankenohu. Flaps are cut out and posed down. The center flaps under the fuselage are going to be a bit tricky to do. Interior ribs and framing to hold the canopy in place have been added as well. I sort of wish I had bought the Italeri kit ot the ICM kit if it ever gets released but I'll stick with what I have ! Tired of sanding rivets though !
