Photos taken with a flash. The third photo clearly shows the difference between the greens looking forward from the aft fuselage into the lower cockpit area.
Call me silly but I didn't like the seat rails.
So I cut the bassterds off, replaced with rod.
Got the peddles in.
but from the above photos,
I may have to add more stuff under the IP!!!
The seat rails on most Corsair kits leave a lot to be desired. Had the same problem on my GB59 build and I pinched the details from one of Andy's old builds.
According to my notes there was the Interior Green in the cockpit of the 1D. As Don had mentioned that before it was the FS 34151 Interior Green.
The fuselage interior of the Zinc Chromate Yellow, FS 33481. The Interior Green was applied on the YZC primer in the cockpit as the second layer.

That is correct. The aircraft primer is a zinc chromatic running between yellow to green. Interior green is cockpit color up until last fifties. Than it went to a grey.
Thanks for all the replies, annnnnd the color discussion.
So now before I start painting the interior,
I've sawn off some details from scraps,
and a little scratch building is finished.
