Not too much detailed work, only cleaning up the parts and priming them.

Completed the assembly of the cockpit pieces, will not attach the HUD until towards the end.

Before I started the primer I test fitted the wings to the fuselage and the fit is so tight there was hardly a seam. With the splinter pattern I figured it would be easier to paint most of it before attaching them.

However with your question I'm beginning to 2nd guess it now. I think once the first coat of the base color is finished drying I'll attach them and then put on the 2nd.
