Not bad Harrison, not bad. But the top of the air intake should be much round. Also look at the pic below.

Looking very good young padawan. You can sand it now with the highest of grade sandpaper you have.Do it slightly going from the front to the end of the air intake.Try to keep rounding of the top of it.
 
Alright! I need to make a run to the LHS (Not really local) to get some more stuff....

I still have the sandpaper, but I realized I need more.
 
Yes Harrison it is. Looking very good. However is there a need of adding some putty to the joint gap at the more flat area of the air intake?
 
If there isn't any gap you can find with the nail test, it is OK.
Also I suggest to think over problem with the joints on the MGs coverings.It should be sanded in the same way like the air intake.Of course you need sand them at the joint areas and on sides mostly.At the top of them slightky only to round these . Another thing is the thin Superglue.Can you get it tomorrow?
