So it means that all is OK. I thought you weren't using them.

So now show me agaiin the flap bay you still have to sand a little bit.

I will check in before I go to sleep to see if you left me any things to do.

THANKS so much for your help!!!!! Depending on school work, I may have time to work tomorrow!

Have a nice night.

Looking quite good . You have to sand the whole inner surface of the bay in order to remove these clods of the putty. Also see the pic below.

OK, Wojtek, I did this, and I felt that I did a really good job....... so I repainted the inside of the flap bay to cover the stop I sanded to much earlier and made a white spot. The part to the right, of the tip, on the blue arrow was painted.

Pics when I get back from school.

Pic 1: Repainting I did. BUT all the raised parts you see, have since been sanded off, the recessed area you see needs, putty?
Pic 2: Blurry! I'm going to get another pic
Pic 3: Shows the wing kept shape

Well, I have been watching this thread for a while now, is this known as model building by proxy?

Seriously though, this is a great tutorial. I am hoping to get back into modelling over the winter, along with several other new hobbies, and the Revell P-40 is the model I have chosen to start over with since it is pretty inexpensive.
Great work by both of you (modeller and mentor.

Its a really nice kit! I look forward to your work!

The only things I have come to dislike are the darn wings

And thanks
