If it is so hard to remove the paint. maybe you have any thin plastic sheet , for instance from icecream top box.

LOL Those pics could've helped a lot!!

I did more, getting close to one side but now dinner is ready, will you be on? Oh and what will we be 'scratch-building' ?
 
Yes I'll be on. We will be scratchbuilding the wheel bay inner structure which is very charcteristic for P-40 and can be seen in many pics of these.Of course it won't the be the full correction because it should had been done before you put these wing halves together. But undoubtedly it can make the P-40 view better.

Keep a bowl with cold water close to you.You can cool your fingers in that.

I am using Orange sandpaper but it is starting to disinegrate, this is my last little strip, then I need to use black......

As for the bold, just realized that
 
I see...get resting for a while. Go to the washroom and wash your hands with coold water and soap. It should help you with that.

So show me please how the card is looking now. Have you sanded both sides?

Your brother rushes exactly like you. Christams are in December, a lot of time to that.
