Finishing up the last one while staying married! I don't think she was too happy today when she found out I has entered two in the current GB. I guess I'm expected to do stuff around the house too.

have spent the day putting the decals on DB's Spitfire Va and have also put another coat of future on, pics tomorrow

right here is more progress
decals finished, flat coat done and a light panel line wash done
Bader only had this Va for 3 flights including the day he was downed so i havn't gone mad with weathering
spinner and prop not finished yet and only dry fitted

Very, very nice. The subtle weathering looks good. If I could brush paint that nice I would put away the spray gun.

have had a mini disaster the left side serial numbers have folded up after i put them on. probably from me picking it up !!!!!!
but i never noticed (not sure how)and have now slapped on 2 coats of matt varnish which has sealed them on, i'm going to leave it for now then try and get them off at a later date and replace them with numbers and letters from a decal sheet i have !

Decal Disasters are common - ask me how I know. No - don't bother! If you haven't got that serial give us a shout.
