Well began to put this one together as well, but already a issue, from the instructions Parts y7&y8 are reversed but easy enough to figure out. Also from test fitting the cockpit to the fuselage how does the part where the canopy rest on go?, underneath the lip or Flush with it hard for me to tell. And that is about as far as I got with it.

Well I hope you can see in the picture what I'm talking about the instructions just arn't real clear to me on how the back side of the cockpit goes which is it under the lip or over it?.

Oh I see now. The horizontal surface behind the pit should be flush with he edge of the fuselage so glue it over the ledge that's been provided.

well here is where I am at the front bulkhead gear box deal is glued in place the cockpit is not as I am wondering is it suppose to be in line with the rear half of the gear box firewall thingy? If even with the firewall then there is a gap at the back part of the pit where the canopy sets.

If I line up the back part with flush with the side then then tub part does not sit even with the firewall and it does not line up too well with the other side either when I test fit it.

Or am I over thinking this stuff, I just really want to make this one my best one to date.

Tim, I'd make sure the cockpit bulkhead fits nicely inside the provided opening and then see where it ends up at the firewall. Take it slow and dry-fit everything together with masking tape and you should see how it goes together.

Well here is where I am at Wings and main spar arn't glued they are just there for support. How I did this was I glued the front part first let it dry then put the cockpit in lined everything up and glued the back together which is where it sits now. And so far I have not had to do any trimming just going slow and lining everything up is the trick.
