Here are some fountain and water studies. Most of these were shot with a fast shutter (1/2000) to stop the action, except the last shot that I slowed the shutter down to 1/100 to capture the motion of the water. Not quite the effect I was looking for, but it'll do.

Good subject to practice capturing water Eric I like shot 3 best. If your last shot is taken at 100th it shows that a tripod and less that 1/30th is needed for those high motion water fall pictures we see in the pic mags.
Where all those taken with the standard Nikkor lens?
Talking of aircraft pictures I took 600 at duxford and Im getting square eyes going through them all.
Unlike you eric I would love to be unemployed or should I say retired I got called out yet again last night thats three 14hr days Ive done on the trot and Im getting knackered. That said im sure something will crop up soon for you good huinting mate.

okay, back to the airplanes. I went to the airport for a couple of hours and did a little spotting. I wandered all the way down the airport, which I wouldn't recommend. Airport security wasn't too happy with me "wandering around on the ramp". But they just told me to stick near the CAF area, which I did after that. Here are some of the shots from today.

When I first saw that, I hit my jaw with the keyboard but now my heart is warming back to normal when I see the word "Photoshop"... ;)
BTW, nice picture, could be used for the calendar, too. :thumbleft:
