Thanks, I will keep at it. I shot with a 300mm. I have given up using my 600mm, Just to hard to keep in focus.

New stuff from this past weekend. Saturday was beautiful. A lot of stuff came out of the hangars that doesn't usually come out at all. Little did I know the exercises that the Sheriff's helicopter would be good practice beginning the next day.

Eric: That Chinese trainer... is that the same one that was at NAS Oceana
a month ago ? The one that was here had a female pilot.......

Eric: Take a look at the first photo, the one with the guys working on the
engine of the aircraft with only one wing attached. Is that a Fairchild 24 ??
It sure looks like it.....

I'm not sure what was at Oceana, but that is a Nanchang CJ. And yes, the one they are working on is indeed a Fairchild 24. Good catch! That's also what is starting up in the third shot above. The did an engine runup and it sounded great. Purred like a kitten.

Eric: What tipped me off was the inverted "v" in the windshield frame. After
I saw the pic of the engine run-up, I was certain. It has landing gear like no
other aircraft in the world ! I'd like to see that after the restoration is
complete.

When she flies for the first time, I will definitely be there with the camera. They have been making great strides on that one.

Been working on holiday gifts for my best customers. Mugs with either my logo or their airplane filled with chocolate bells, Hershey Kisses and Lindor truffles (Swiss chocolates, Mmmmm).

Five more published photos came today via e-mail. The California Historical Artillery Society were one of the groups at the Civil War re-enactment in November. Their newsletter, Cannon's Mouth, features five of my photos, with credit.

This is big. Rob Harrison's Media Kit for 2008 contains several of my photos! The envelope the kit comes in has my photo on the front, plus the cover of the main brochure and three more pictures inside! Here are some small samples.

Thanks Dan. The first photo has been used in advertising as well and was in the November issues of In Flight USA and the Pacific Flyer. I just got around to picking up those magazines today.
