We are finally getting some more California weather here. It was 87 degrees F here on Friday. I had to run out and get some propane for the BBQ. Nothing like driving around with 2 x 5 gallon tanks of propane! I got home and the flowers in front of the house were in full bloom.

With the budget cuts that kicked in a few days ago, I figured it was prudent in ordering some more backgrounds for my photo studio. There will be smaller shows, and less of them, so I'm going to try and make up the difference with some studio work. I have my next portrait shoot a week from today.

Anyway, enough yammering, enjoy the pics.

And you said you weren't that good at Macro.....PTPTPTPTPTPTPTPTPTPT. Poppycock! Those are great!
I feel your pain about the airshow cuts, they've been cutting back around here for the last few years now.

Yesterday, the only flying B-29, "Fifi", came to Camarillo to spend a few days before heading off to Burbank. What a sight to behold as the B-29 showed up with 5 "little friends", a P-51, Spitfire Mk.XIV, Zero, Hellcat and Bearcat! The sound alone was amazing. It was my first chance to see this B-29 and my first to see one fly. There was a big crowd at Camarillo to see it come in.

I know, Matt, but there is another in restoration, "Doc" down in Kansas. It's on private donations, so who knows when it will be finished, but if you saw the number of people there to see that historic bird, young and old, you would see the reason they keep it flying. Plus I got to meet and talk with several WWII vets who flew in them.

Nice shots, Eric!

Coincidently, I happened to take photos of the B-29's bombs at a local museum of Osaka City yesterday.
May I introduce one?
Thanks!
