Great shot of your daughter, Eric!

I'll admit that I cringe when my K-5 shifts itself to ISO3200...I am so used to keeping my K100D locked in at ISO200 (unless stuff is moving, then the ISO bumps up...)

It has been a whirlwind of a month and personally, I am ready for it to be over. As many of you know, my father passed away almost 2 weeks ago. I had planned on shooting the Cable airshow both days and flying both days for some aerial shots. Once dad passed away, those things became unimportant. I have begun work on my third book, as yet to be named or titled. And yesterday, we pulled a full on tourist look with the whole family carrying cameras around the botanic gardens near our home. My son has quite a good eye, as you can see below. You can see a sample from my wife, Laura, Jacob and Kayleigh below. Yes, I am proud. :)

Looks like they have your eye for photography, excellent shots folks. And I was sorry to hear of your dad's passing. My condolences to and your family Eric.

Nice shots Eric, those gardens with that backdrop must be really something worth seeing, but am very sorry to hear about your Dad, my condolences to you and the family.

Thanks Vic. Some days are better than others. I know it'll take some time.

I have finished my book layout and all the pages, just going through once more for syntax issues. I am hoping to have the book up on the publishers site by the end of the week.

Been a little busy and in a funk lately. Yesterday, I set up the studio again and decided it was time to get some photos. Laura got involved as well. Here is the fruits of our labor.
