Yeah Bill, usually would make scratch belts etc. but I need to see a finished product to motivate me to get on with other builds and since this one was about 5 bucks I figured heck why not!

And she's sealed up. Threw some weight towards the front before I sealed her up

Had to use CA glue on the tail fin and the fit was not idea but CA glue made it stay put

you tried the tail parts the other way round Harrison, sometimes they fit better ?

If they don't fit the other way round, sometimes you have to cut the tips that slide into the hole, although painful most times the only way

Looks like the mould tools have got worn over time, allowing too much plastic flow into the tail plane tabs. just file down the tabs, or slightly enlarge the slots, and they'll fit. I seem to remember that, for whatever reason, the nose intake is moulded 'solid' internally, and is quite thick too, making it a b*gg*r of a job to hollow out.
I think I made a 'FOD' guard for the one I built 30+ years ago. I have one spare from one of my Academy kits if you want it H ?
