This aircraft belongs to F/O Lorne Cameron of 402sqn., March '43. Wartime history here- Lorne Cameron
The aircraft had a good life. Built in Aug. '42 and SOC in Mar. '46 spending all it's life with RCAF squadrons.

First off, I would like to thank those that offered help, input, and just plain looking in. Here are the finished photos.....

    Wow, what a woman!!

Just a question: I did an Italeri MkIX in 1:48 (complete with beer kegs) and for the yellow leading edge the kit actually supplied decals. Did yours as well? If not, hella kudos to you for getting the curve along the leading edge masked! (I took the lazy way out.)
    I did mine as a 312 Squadron.

Thanks Silence. I masked it off, undercoated with white, and the use Citadel Yriel Yellow which I find is extremely close to the RAF yellow. Ironically, the gun patches were cut off the Tamiya yellow leading edge decal.

Great looking Spit Geo - nice to see nose art on a Spit, definitely unusual and makes the model stand out even more
