thanks fellas for your replies on my Lanc she is most defenately a Lancaster bomber. I am glad you allo got a kick out of my bird good enough to know where he comes from they dont breed them for Beauty. As to the update build report onh Wojtek,s Lancaster dedication build All four Rolls Ropyce Merlin engines are installed, The massive huge undercarriage I will start on this tonight.I should have her done by this Thursday or Friday Then i will go on to something else to keep your peepers busy.

thanks Dear Sir for your reply, Georges wingspan is 7 feet he stands about 30 inch,s tall I had him scince he was a baby he fell out of the pines where they roost he eats nothing but fresh meat scraps I get fvrom the grocery store free of charge, The kids next door bring their little friends over and kncok on my door wanting to see George. He loves company he spreads out his wings and dances in a circle showiung off his might.

How cool is that. When I was ten years old, a buddy's brother had a hawk we used to hunt birds with BB guns and bring the spoils home to his hawk. Good memories. I would love to see your bird in person, that must be quite the sight for young kids.

again thank you for your replies and I hope you like my Turkey Buzzard. As to the build update the Lancaster build is drawing almost to a close with exceptionj of a few more parts. I have completed the main undercarriage assemly now I am working on the tail wheel assembly when finished all is left is the props and couple more parts here and there along with the final touch up and she is ready for the clouds. The undercarriage struts are made from rolled paper tubeing reinforced with cloths hanger wire epoxied into the engine nacelles. last update pictures will be the props and the final assembly.

Terry Crimson river thanks fellas for your kind replies, I love card kits something about them brings out the modeling skills and over view of the completed model itself. Here is another update for the night tom orrow I will; have this beast all done and I will go to something else for all of you to enjoy I got to start commenting on the other fellows builds they in turn do some amazeing and wonderfull work I love this forum you fellas are the best I wish i can have a beer with you guys that would be my greatist wish list if a genie popped out of adladans lamp. The Lanc is now sitting on her legs now she is tall and proud the undercarriage is very strong and it supports the Lancs weight with no fuss.
