Well, here it is March already, and I'm falling really behind on my pics!

I really haven't had a chance to try out my Sigma 300mm I got last month, though I did get in a few shots that I'll post here along with shots taken with my regular lenses.

These were taken with my traditional lenses:

These were taken with my new Sigma 300mm:

While testing the new lens out on local waterfowl, I snuck in a shot of my girlfriend feeding the geese while a hopeful seagull was looking on

And here I am...a few months later, finally posting some pix...how about that?

Been actually busy at work and haven't had much time to get out and really do some camera work, though I do have a great idea for a photo project which I'll get busy on after I get back from Europe. And oh yes, there will be some pics from that trip, though it won't be anywhere near as extensive as Vic's global jaunt!

Anyway, here ya' go!

These 4 were shot with my new 50-200mm lens (I am REALLY liking this glass...seriously)

Here's a couple of MACRO shots with my 100mm MACRO lens...both were shot at a distance of about 5 inches.
The flowers in the second shot are no more than 5/16" (5mm) across.

This was an extreme shot I took late in the evening with my 50-200 as a CDF S-2 Tracker (number 88) made a run during a fire last week. I was up at the Clear Creek bridge (west of Redding) looking east, and the ridge in the foreground was about a mile off, the fire being in the canyon beyond.
