In answer to your question regarding the dials dneid, I follow this method, as the dials are well detailed already you can get away with just dry brushing them, first I spray the panel flat black once dry I then dry brush each dial with flat white, then I fill each dial with masking fluid and then over spray with black again this makes the dials stand out really well. It's then just a matter of removing the masking fluid to expose the dry brushed dials. The rest of the detail such as switches and buttons are hand painted. A final careful dry brushing with silver and to finish off add some drops of klear onto each dial to give the effect of glass.
I decided to make the seat belts and harnesses using tamiya tape and some left over PE buckles. Here's some shots which include a dry fit of the office.
