I wonder if they can spread the payments out over a couple of years.

They'll sell it, then a couple of years later, realise that the new aircraft and carrier programme has gone t*ts up, bring the Sea Harriers out of mothballs, and then realise they don't have a ship to put them on !!
Why we let 'Civvies' decide, and rule on Military needs, I'll never know. Some bloke in office for five years or so, wet behind the ears, making decisions which will be in effect long after he's stood on someone else to get higher up the 'pecking order', and then take early retirement with a large wad, and never even care about what his earlier actions have resulted in = bl**dy waste of rations !

After the sub fiasco, I don't think us Canucks are interested.

Canada's sole aircraft carrier is doing fine thank-you very much.

Ahh yes, that's a fine Canadian STOL carrier.

Personally, I think Canada's larger carrier is much more impressive.

Nice graphic, but it doesn't show the JS Izumo, which will be joined by the JS Kaga next year.

    I'm always impressed :thumbleft:

Yes, Abe is waiting for F-35s for them, I think.

I understand the JS Izumo's size is close to that of the IJN Hiryƫ
