I'm not particularly keen on models being displayed in this way, unless for a 'desk' display or similar, but it has been done very well. Looks like the modeller has extended the oleos too, as they would be with gear down in flight. Very nicely done.
 
I like it. I get tired of the "gear down, cockpit open" display. I get it, because it's easy. But sometimes some implied dynamics of flight makes for a change in scenery. Good job. And I have always liked the clear plexiglass up the tailpipe idea... though have never seen it done with flat (vs rod) plexiglass. Well executed.
 
Rather like this one....Super Etendard.
