Had the same thought about the floor planking myself Andy, when I saw it at the show, also thought the work bench was a bit to complex as well. As for the pebbles Terry, I think the guy must also be into lapidary as they are most certainly nicely polished. Was intrigued with the Avenger though a nice little build.

Next subject an Aussie Mustang.

Don't you guys think that both, the Mustang and the Spitfire could use some weathering? They look so clean.

The dihedral could be something to do with the photo angle Andy, but have to agree, though nice, it's lacking the personnel touch and no panel lines.

Yes both certainly could to enhance there appearance, but remember not all entrants are top level modellers, some are still learning the process, the Spitty appears to be well built and painted and decals applied well. A good sign that the basics are coming along nicely. However as you have said it is lacking in one major area and it is clear that this is the next logical process...to enhance the model. You will note that there are not even any exhaust or gun stains present, normally a first stage to improving the looks.....I hope this guy takes the first step and asks questions as to how he can improve further...

Ok last shots for this category, a couple of overall shots of the models...:)
