about the history of the Luftwaffe, I can recommend " Luftwaffe the war diaries" by Gaius Bekker.

I do not know how good of a book it is since I have yet to read it myself, but I have a book called Fighter Bombers over Britain. I feel like that would go over some of the Luftwaffe history of some of the units.

PS: I just had to share this, but for some reason I legit forgot how to spell Britain and I had to look it up
