MY WORLD (2 Viewers)

Thanks Hugh. Saw this beauty in PG yesterday. More of a '57 fan though; year I was born and the world became a better place

Not sure what these are call. I just thought they looked cool

IMHO that's the rowan also known as the mountain-ash. In Polish it is called jarzębina. A nice pic. :thumbright:

With no doubt it's jarzębina. As memo serves the size of the berries and the bunches depends on the age of the tree, the wather and the amount of precipitation, ets, But mostly the size of the tree. There are many of these around my house planted and growing. It's quite popular tree here in Poland.

Nice shot George!

These are what we were after. #1 daughter popped in for a short bit and when she left she saw them about 400yds from the house

Agreed Andy. Two of our trails are just metres from where those two were. I have to be careful going into my carport; three times now there's been a Blackie there when I've gone to get into my truck

Been a couple of Griz encounters lately between here and Calgary. An elk hunter was attacked about 25 miles from us and died a few days later. Bad stuff can happen here in paradise. In August three tourists all managed to fall into a local waterfall. It took several days to find the third body. Pretty soon the snowmobilers and even cross country skiers will be setting off avalanches in the high country. I live in a lovely place, but you do have to pay attention...
