That happened to a buddy of mine in the coal mine we worked at. The only thing that saved his life is the ground was frozen and the haul pushed him instead of flattening him. miningmahen.com is where you can find them all

Traveling down the east coast between towns I once asked a guy if it was okay to drive my Nissan Skyline down a shortcut dirt track to the next town. His reply was "Sure, but watch out for the potholes." I asked how bad they were and he replied, "lets put it this way, you'll need your headlights on to find your way out some of them." Needless to say I took the highway to Port Macquarie, the next town.
