Last tour we averaged 65,000 metric tonnes per day, roughly 280 loads per day on crappy roads. When the roads are good we are in the mid 70,000s

Sounds like you really need retirement Geo, and I hope you finish your present stint with less, hopefully no pain, and enjoy some relaxation - probably at the bench !
 
Traveling down the east coast between towns I once asked a guy if it was okay to drive my Nissan Skyline down a shortcut dirt track to the next town. His reply was "Sure, but watch out for the potholes." I asked how bad they were and he replied, "lets put it this way, you'll need your headlights on to find your way out some of them." Needless to say I took the highway to Port Macquarie, the next town. :lol:
 
Those things that cost me 300 bucks to fix 2 weeks ago. Could have been 700 if it weren't for remaining warranty on my tire.
