Photographer Mark Mawson has published a wonderful series of fourteen new underwater ink photographs entitled Aqueous Fluoreau. The images capture the moment when paint drops into water; the result is a hypnotizing visual journey. The images are stunning not only for their vibrant colors but their almost sculptural appearance. His previous projects from the same family, Aqueous and Aqueous II are also incredible and worth your time.
High speed cameras capture amazing scenes lost to human perception which runs at about 8-10 frames per second. The hand is indeed quicker than the brains ability to perceive. Great pics.
P.S. The Pinto gas tank only exploded if the car was rear-ended while the left-turn signal was flashing. Ford Bean-counters calculated the odds of this as being to slim to warrent the expensive design/assembly corrections needed. Cheaper to pay-off the survivors/relatives
Awesome shots Njaco. The other fine example we Canadians do in the winter is sit in the basement, watch hockey and drink beer until spring when all that freakin' snow melts.
