some more of our 60 mile venture // top pic some of the lava flow out of Brown mountain. we are about 5500 feet in elevation. Second pic is the north fork of Brown creek pumping out of the base of the Mountain, more like a big black slug heap. Some of the best back country telemark skiing is here on the West coast USA

D@mn Eric! Great pics. That does look like a lot of fun (great scenery). He, my dad's a cyclist too (albeit I don't think he's as good as he used to be, though). I think you guys would get along great with stuff like this. 8)

My colleague here in work is a cyclist, he's always trying to get me to buy a decent bike and go cycling with his crew. They go out twice a week for 60 mile 'spins', NO THANKS!!

thanks guys for the comments, yes I am honored to live where I do and the access, still of places not over-run with hoodlums and idiots. a big climber long ride this Sunday weather permitting ........

here's a pic of the girl resting, my Scythe...........

do I dare say it ........in the $ 7,000.00 figure , smooth as silk on the road

and the seat is really comfy Viking, doesn't look like it but it is, pays to spend the funds on really good shorts and bibs, makes all the difference in the world...............yo can go on a century without crawling on the ground after you get off screaming in agony that your privates are still stuck on the bike
