Oh man Aaron, thats a bummer. I wish I had my camera with me all the time.
Dave, I was going to contact the Audubon Society and see if they could tell me, I just haven't gotten around to it, maybe Monday. The one is a Flycatcher, Black Phoebe.
My error the first shot is a Sunrise not Sunset, sorry.
I tell you Vic, I just have a ball with that camera. I wish I could get out more and take scenic photos and some of the old historic houses in Riverside, I love Victorian Architecture.

To be honest, I thought it was a sunrise at first, but sometimes looking at a photo can be deceiving. Always go with the gut! LOL
If you want to get some shots of the old architecture, just pack up and do it! I've wanted to do a number of things, and just put them off and end up regretting it later.
Riverside, San Bernardino and Pomona all have excellent buildings, some dating back a couple hundred years...it's definately something worth doing. Play with angles and lighting when you do go!

Mystery solved, I sent three photos of the white bird to the Audubon Society and they identified the bird as a, " leucistic House Finch. (leucistic - partially albino)" They sure answered my request promptly. 8)

You're right Eric, I can't Waite for the air show. I just live about two miles from the base. It always seems like they have bad weather, maybe this year it will be nice.

Of the three years I have been going to Riverside for the show. We only had rain in 2006. It was really bad, but it cleared and ended up being a nice show. I'll be there, up on the hill near the tower again.
