Nice catch on the aircraft, Merv...wonder what they were doing...perhaps the 172 was doing aerial photographs of the warbird?

And well done on the Dragonfly, they are fun to photograph!

Looks like an air-to-air shoot to me, but I would think a 172 would be a difficult ship to shoot from. Great shots Merv!

Thanks Aaron, Shinpachi, Dave, Eric and Wurger for looking and the words of encouragement. I think the two aircraft were en-route to the Big Bear Air Show that started today, at least that seemed to be the direction they were flying. I wanted to go so bad but home duties call. I'm getting ready to do a burn of a Bf-109 on paper, I hope it comes out.

I went for another little stroll in the yard, one day I discovered a family of Feral cats , a momma and five kittens living under a bush next to my fireplace, I was able to get some decent shots they were prey quick on the run and easily scared.

A few days later I found a Fox wandering around my flower bed, I was wondering if he got the kittens because I didn't see them for a couple of days but I did see the momma but no kittens. I guess the law of nature.

Thanks Hugh, VB and Aaron for your kind comments. I was really surprised that the Fox let me take his picture, I was only about 15 feet away from him. He definitely is not afraid of humans.

Here are some shots taken Saturday at the Planes of Fame , the BF-109 is suppose to get a reconstruction, but nothing changed yet. Finances and man power are probably the main problem. The last shot I could not resist, the Sun was reflecting of the lower wing giving it a blue florescent light effect.
