Thank you all. Finally found a munitionschlepper kit so that will go along with the Morser. Wish I knew more about this diorama "stuff". Might try to duplicate that first pic

I finally got my finger out and finished this one after starting it in 1996 when I was living in Germany.
Many thanks to Wayne for providing the decals as the originals were well past their sell by date.

Here's a 1/72 Hasegawa F9F converted to an F9F-6P in utility colors. The paint job was harder than the mods.
