Yep, Jan has the World's largest unassembled Air Force!
Thanks for the tip Geo. I was a bit wary of buying from the 'Far East', but recently took the risk and bought something from China. Shipping for this fairly bulky item (a helmet) was only £6 (it costs that just to send a small parcel inside the UK!), and it arrived only four days after placing the order - and packed, as you say, like a Faberge egg !!
Think I might start looking at kits form out that way, thanks again.

There is still a chance to get ripped off, however I would rather lose cheap and free than costly and lots. When I search, I type in "1/48 aircraft" and get 20,000+ hits. When I find what I want, I will type in, say "1/48 P-47N(Looking for Shellpusher decals) and up pops 79 hits including models, accessories and decals. I can compare the prices then.

Cory, this will probably be a long, drawn out start/finish build as the parts to make the RCAF version are shaded out-not for use- so I'm going to have to figure out what goes where. This is the decal sheet I've ordered.

My emotions are taking over...... have an Viet Nam era Davidson O-2 on it's way..... along with...
a mustang to do as Bob Love's Bernie's Bo...... and have the feeling I want to get an F-86 for him as well.
Now I've found a T-Bolt flown by another Dvdsn! and there's an F-4 from Viet Nam as well.
Then a .....................................
Someone stop me........ puleeeeze!!!!!!!!!

Final call for passenger Davidson. Will passenger Davidson please make his way immediately to Gate Three - Flight 205 for the sanitarium is about to leave. Please note that kits or modelling materials are not allowed in cabin baggage, and any such materials in checked baggage will be confiscated and destroyed. This is for your own well-being.

Warning! That kit may contain traces of plastic ..... (with apologies to a British supermarket, who, yesterday, took bags of peanut off the shelves, because the packets didn't state that there may be traces of nuts inside! Honest!).
