This kit came off of eBay with some issues. It came with a ton of brand new resin parts and decals, BUT, the resin cockpit was partially installed crooked. The fuselage wouldn't go together without some surgery and fiddling. Once it successfully came together it was time to decide on a paint scheme. I've always been a fan of Ralph Hofer from the 4th FG, so Salem Representative it was. I'm using Mr. Color, Tamiya, and Alclad paints shot through an Iwata airbrush. Excellent kit aside from the mentioned issue. This is about 3 weeks of work, down to the clamshells, prop, seat, and final oil paint fades. Probably another 3 weeks
Thanks! I'm at the critical "don't screw it up" stage...keep the paints, thinners and glue well away from it...and use gloves. Don't want to jinx it. Can't wait to build the Eduard P-51!
