Didn't see any pics of it finished Mr C., I'd guess that they finished it, it did its service until replaced by a concrete one perhaps...
Don't you just love mountain railroading, highspeed freights and limiteds are cool, but mountain railroading that's just brutal.. 8)

Most exellent my good man! Looking great! Never been a fan of modern diesels, when safety and comfort came in, styling went out the same door...SD-40's and 45's were that last good looking machines!
Looking forward to many more pics mate!

I know, I'd rather be shooting steam, but when this is all we get what choice is there. Oh well. If I ever get the chance to shoot steam though hopefully I will have had enough practice to get it rite.

I'm with you there mate... Who doesn't LOVE steam!? I'm all for steam, but I also enjoy 1st, 2nd generation diesels and some old electric power, Little Joe's GG1's etc.

Now, get back out there and shoot some more trains!

Heres some new ones.

Heh. The businesses I IT for now are both near railyards. I should bring my cameras one day. One is a fairly large four-track yard for BNSF, with the occasional Amtrack coming through.

Aaron...nothing wrong with them mate, bl**dy well done. Love that first one, its a cracker !.
