I counted 115. Some of the cars were rather short. Especially the ones with the trailers.

Here is the venerable ATSF 3751 chugging down the tracks in front of Anaheim Stadium.

Yesterday was its annual excursion from LA station. And of course I went to see and took these pics.

I won't be up in Alaska until later this summer. I am planning on taking the sightseeing train up through Denali however.

Nice shots, a train trip through Alaska would be great. When I was there we did it by car which was still great fun. Did a train trip through the Canadian Rockies from Banff to Vancouver though which was cool.
