Got stuck at the crossing today, at first I thought it was a slow freight, but turned out (once it came into view) that they were grinding the tracks and it took forever because it was doing all the sidings (that happen to cross where I was at) so I was stuck there for almost 20 minutes...

The upside, was that I had my camera and grabbed some shots of the equipment. Not sure how common of a sight this is, but I thought it was pretty interesting!

I use to live in a house that was about 100 feet from the Union Pacific west line out of Chicago, and one night at about 2:00 am I was woken up by one of those. It looks pretty spectacular in the dark! I wish I would have thought about taking a picture.
 
The Cuyahoga Valley RR was running some steam in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park a couple years back.
