Those Geico Sky Typers are based out of Republic Airport, in Farmingdale NY. The sound they make is like no other aircraft around here. Just a stones throw north of where I work (and live) on Long Island. Site of the former Republic Aviation (Fairchild) I got my Pilots License through Nassau Fliers, based on that airfield. Also on site is the American Airpower Museum, a living museum with many flying aircraft.
