Thanks for popping in folks and thanks also for the kind words.

So after dropping into St Croix on a nice bright sunny morning, our next stop was in the Bay of Fundy. This little corner of the globe is reputed to have the highest tidal surge in the world, and I guess they must as its in the Guinness Book of Records but I've a feeling that King Sound, Western Australia would give them a run for their money.

Anyway, arriving here, the sun had gone, the tide was way out and the wind was chill. But we would only get the one chance so off we traipsed down all the steps to the sea bed and put the camera to work.

I was supposed to be holding up that arch behind me. I sacked the camera girl, I think she was glad!

Can't resist natures wonders, I constantly marvel at what we find.

great stuff Vic. That first shot of the rock formation makes you wonder if, hundreds of years ago, natives thought it was a giant, reclining with his knees bent and both feet on the sand.

Thanks for looking in folks, would have posted more sooner, but………………………life just gets in the way. Anyway, here we are in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.

Yes, it's one of those ships again and of course our lovely guide for the morning who walked us round this lovely town. Follows just a few of the pics taken as we trotted around.

One of the interesting stories told while walking was about the old town paving. The granite was imported in roughly 6 x 3 x 2 foot blocks from, if memory serves, Scotland. Unfortunately they had no means in which to cut the stone locally into slabs, but were still used as paving by burying each block 6 foot deep.

here you have just one more pic of my fixation of pumpkins.

Following Charlottetown we moved on the 'Ann of Green Gables' country.

This was the beach close to the house, not the beach in the movie though, this one faces north east, so no sunsets here.

Thanks for popping in folks.

After the girls paddling session we went to the 'Anne of Green Gables' house, the highlight of the trip for many of the women folk. Here are some of the pics I took before entering the house and between the heavy downpours we had.
