Andy, sadly Lunenburg was not on our tour itinerary.
Thanks for stopping by folks and sorry about the gap, it's been a bit of a hectic couple weeks. Hopefully were back on track as of today, may even try and get a bit of modelling done, though it would be nice if it were warmer.
I really like the photos of the the lighthouse and fishing boats. Kinda of reminds me of being back at my grandparents place in Chesapeake, Va. Thank you for sharing Vic. Great shots sir.
Thanks gents. Were still in and around Halifax NS and today we visit the old fort (Fort George) overlooking the huge harbour. To my knowledge, this fort, the fourth citadel, though completed in 1856, it has never seen a shot fired in anger. But what a great fort and well worth the visit.
Here is a brief assembly of shots taken that lovely sunny and quite warm afternoon.
This is a kids birthday party and they play soldiers, running all over the fort under the command of the Regimental Sergeant Major.
By the way, the guards and such are students dressed up for the part and depict the uniform of the 78th Highlander Regiment of Foot. These guys do a changing of the guard every hour on the hour.
