This is what is done in my street too.Yay. The city is planning to resurface my street this summer. And make it more pedestrian friendly. That means make it harder for cars.
What is/was your job?Just received a phone call before my shift started to tell me I'm being laid off. And just 5 years short of retirement.
Sorry to hear that, I can understand the feeling as I was 45 when I was forced out of Aircraft Maintenance Job I had for 20+ years. Just keep your options open and think about what else you may be interested in doing that your skills would translate to. I changed career paths in my mid 40's. I know it would be more difficult to do now in my 60's. I wish you good fortune in what ever you decide to do.I was the second shift supervisor for Collins Aerospace.
That sucks.Just received a phone call before my shift started to tell me I'm being laid off. And just 5 years short of retirement.

I'll be arriving at Lambert International on April 4. See if you guys can clear up the weather by then, please. In about an hour or two about to get hammered by the first major storm of the year. Already getting dark.
Expecting 70 mph sustained winds, gusts to 100 mph, golf ball size hail or larger, and strong tornadoes.
Par for the course for the Midwest, but still meh…
