I posted a few of my then-and-now composition photos on a Facebook group. The original pictures were made in May 1940, just after the Dutch surrender and were located at Villa Amstelwijck, which was a Dutch headquarters back then. I got a reaction from a member saying that the pictures were ridiculous as the Gestapo occupied the building ( may 1940? ) and these were all manipulated photos. Especially the last remark made my day. Well yeah, they are composition photos, sure enough they are manipulated
 
I am lucky usually but my wife is always a mess after surgery. At present she has massive bruises in the elbow, back of the wrist and about 10cm/4in up from the wrist in the soft side of the arm.
