Had a follow up with my surgeon today.....he doesn't want to see me anymore.
One afternoon several years ago I took the dog for a walk and we chose to head North instead of South. Were we about a block away when several Sheriff's cars past us heading south at supersonic speed. Turns out that a lady down the street south of us came home from a gambling cruise, where she had won big. Soon thereafter a a gang of illegal aliens came to her door, claiming to be from the gas company. They broke in, tied her to a chair, and proceeded to ransack the house. She waddled over to a cabinet, picked up a gun, and still tied to the chair with her hands behind her, started shooting at the crooks. They ran away and one of the bullets struck the neighbor across the street. I am glad I did not try to walk my dog through that!Tonight the story had a happy ending.
I read where there is a little girl afflicted with cancer who was selling lemonade to pay for the chemotherapy her family could not afford.
She is a fan of Catlin Clark, who came along and said she would pay for the girl's entire medical costs.
Be sure to bring her an airplane model kit.We have scheduled a dinner for Christmas Break.
At one job the phone would ring and it would be someone saying they were our copy machine company, asking to confirm which model copy machine we had and ask for my name. I would go look and then tell them. It turned out it was a scam. Believe it or not, our copy company already knew what kind of machine we had. Then the scammers would call back and "warn" us that the price of the toner just took a huge jump and we'd better stock up before the new prices went into effect. If you told them Okay, ship us some, the price would not be at all attractive, aside from the fact that our copy company already provided that as part of our contract with them. There was some outfit from Sacramento pulling that scam.He says it cuts out all the repeat calls for at least six months.
