Nice old kit it was fun to make iv.e got the B17 as well but hav,nt built that yet might do it if the swordfish does,nt hurry up.BB

I love that plane BB, I saw real pics of it somewhere online. I'm guessing its a tail sitter since you have that cap holding it up? :).. my first P38 sat too.

Thanks guys yes she does sit on her tail skid but that don,t look right still nothing i can do now you can still find these on ebay i got mine from the states thats the best place to look if you want one.BB

If you can find a cheaper version of the j model in 1/72 i have a set of dragon and his tail decals that i no longer need pm me with your adress and i will send them for free mate.BB

Is it the decals for the green dragon like on your 1/48 or is it a different dragon? Because I just found the 1/72 by Minicraft and it has a light orangy dragon. If its that decal then no need to ship.. :)

Quick update, wings are on and putty has been given to the wings and stabilizers. Still some areas to do, but very minor.

Nice job Maglar- It's a beaut!

Hey BB, is your B-24 a early or late model? The nose turret looks like it's too high above the rest of the nose...or were they all like that? Nice *cough cough* dragon, by the way!

Applied my Alclad alum, it was going well until I saw some seams and hairs pop up! It doesnt matter what one does, something will always float onto the model during airbrush time. Bad thing is I wasted fair amount of Alclad doing the whole plane but the good thing is I can see the problems and fix them and go back. Fixing seams and sanding off any particles in the paint. It looks really nice all lumed up!
