Nice, always difficult to shoot against the brighter sky. Had several hundred snow geese fly overhead last two days in huge V-formations. Natch no camera handy. Just caught one small formation
I live in Orange NSW and am pleased to say that over the last 10 years or so there has been a nice recovery of some birds and tree dwelling marsupials. They had been listed as all but extinct as local populations, due to a number of threats from feral cats and dogs, loss of tree cover (of the right kind, being a vegetation alliance known the box gum grassy woodland, which is vegetation under severe threat these days)
However, the superb parrots seem to be fighting back as the following photo shows:

That is really neat. None here in the south though LOTS of coyotes in the forest behind the house. Never actually seen one but most nights you can hear them loud and clear. Last time I actually saw a wolf in the wild was out west many year ago
