Seat taken care of, ran some flat coat over the engine and gave it a drybrushing of light grey to tone that semi gloss down...as required some black pastel and a bit of a wash will reduce any highlighting that is a bit too heavy, the flash has really brought out the drybrushing detail, way more than it actually is!

Very nice work on the seat and engine Wayne. I also left the flare rack in place on mine, realizing too late it possibly should have not been there.

Sláinte,

Gerry

Made the same mistake on my mkIX, except I scratched one in, instead of leaving it alone!
Good looking motor! Can't wait to see it all wired up.

Thanks very Much guys, not sure just how much further wiring will be added Paul, as most is just not going to be seen...you will see what i mean soon!

Here is another part to the engine puzzle....the engine support frame along with the primary pipes and hoses added...starting to get a bit crowded!

Heck! Nicely de-ciphered Wayne. The way model moulding technology is advancing, the day could come where there is scale feul, oil and coolant, and the bl**dy things will start up and run!
